Choose Your Adventure Whether you are camping or staying in accommodation, travelling the entire SavannahWay or just tackling one section at a time, there are many experiences to enjoy. Take your fishing gear to try your luck in peaceful dams or creeks, wide rivers or the northern Australian coast. Pick up a bird field guide and binoculars to discover an incredible array of bird life across forever changing natural habitats. Pack a couple of golf clubs to challenge the quirky local courses in main towns. Across the route you’ll find many opportunities for inspiring walks, connecting with Australia’s indigenous and pioneering past, and of course a social drink with locals and other travellers. The Top End Explore the 4WD tracks of Gregory National Park and watch the sun set over Keep River National Park’s sandstone ranges. World Heritage Listed Kakadu National Park features rock art galleries over 20,000 years old and a myriad of wildlife.
